An incredibly strong field has entered for this Saturday nights Production Sedan Collie Championship, which doubles as the second round of the Southwest Production Sedan Series.
The field is headed by West Australian Champion Drew Ogle, who won the Feature race at the Collie venue two weeks ago, after an amazing move around the outside of Beau Riley and Barry Rose.
Both Riley and Rose are both in the field of twenty five, with Rose winning the opening round of the Production Sedan Series last Saturday night at the Quit Bunbury Speedway.
Riley on his home track is always very quick, as is Darren Johnson, who will be hoping for a better performance on Saturday night after suffering mechanical issues at the last event.
Veteran Richard Nelson was also very prominent at the last Collie event, but a hit with the fence curtailed his chances in the twenty lap main event, which went flag to flag.
Kyle Sayer and Wayne Leviston are two other drivers who will no doubt be amongst the front runners on Saturday night, along with Graeme Rafferty who has repaired his car after hitting the fence a fortnight ago.
Making his first appearance at the Collie venue for the season is Kane McDiarmid, current Australia three, along with former National Champion, Tim Green. McDiarmid and Greens inclusion ensures this will be the strongest field this season, with the WA Production Sedan Title now less than two months away at the Coalfields venue.
Racing commences at 6.00pm WST.
