The GWN Modified Production Sedan Series in Western Australia, has very quickly become one of the premier series for any section around Australia, and this year promises to be bigger and better.
The series this year will see as many as seven new drivers, one of those being teenager Kye Blight.
Blight created history two seasons ago, by winning a rain effected Production Sedan title at Kalgoorlie, the youngest ever to win a senior title in Western Australia, at the age of sixteen.
Blight will take charge of the ex Ken Tucker, Ford AU Falcon, which is currently being re-stripped and rebuilt. "The engine is away at the moment getting a much needed freshen up while all the componentry is being replaced, that includes new shocks, springs, diff, wheels, control arms, panard bar etc etc" said Blight recently.
The team will consist of car owner and crew chief Darren Blight, a winner of four State Titles in Production Sedans, Graham Blight and Michael Clark, an accomplished driver in his own rite.
The competitive nature of the Blight's over many years, will ensure that they will not be just making up the numbers in the Modified Production ranks, but will be in the thick of the action from the opening round.
Kye Blight would like to thank his loyal sponsors: Blight's Auto Electrics Century Batteries Katanning Ehhaust Centre Poett Transport HIF racecars AutoSmart SWB photography and promotions
The GWN Modified Production Series will have comprehensive coverage throughout the season with five of the nine rounds also broadcast live on the live audio channel.
