Guy Thompson, President of the TSCF has today advised that he won't be standing for re-election and subsequently will be retiring from the Board of Speedway Sedans Australia, and the TSCF.
Thompson, who has been a long time delegate of Speedway Sedans Australia (12 year), and also as President of the Tasmanian Saloon Car Federation, contributed strongly to the National Sedan scene.
"I would like to thank Neil Sayers, Greg Lynd, Bev Thompson, Phil Richardson, Harold Burgess, John Wilson and Dane Porter for their support over time", Thompson said.
Mr Thompson who held the finance portfolio and also assisted with title allocations, will not be lost to Speedway altogether, as he will take on a Management role at the Bendigo Bank Arena (Latrobe) and also at the Mountain Dew Ice Raceway (Hobart).
